Wild and Crazy

I have been so busy and lazy about posting anything new. Well I have some new stuff going on in my life and I am really excited. I went home last weekend and saw all my family. The boys are so big now...TALL and skinny. My grandma was visiting from Indiana and it was my Dad's birthday. My dad is into running now so I got him some new shoes...well it was pretty much Raul's idea. He loved them and told me that it was one of the best birthday gifts he ever got and my mom got him a "learning Spanish" cd...I can't remember the name of it but he was super excited about that too. So anyway it was a lot of fun.

Then I cam back home to find a second job opportunity for myself. I am now the Head Track and Field Coach at a private catholic highschool. I have about 60 girls right now and they are really neat. I am really excited for things to get rolling with that. Things in my life right now are doing pretty well....oh and I got to see Denise when I went home. She is the best.

Fire in the Sky

SO....Today is a good day, first of all...all of the Today show was in Vermont and Merideth took the "Penguin Plunge." Raul makes fun of me but I call them my friends...Merideth, Matt, Anne, Al...you know the whole gang! The other reason why it is a good day is because I am going home to AZ to see my family. It is my dad's birthday on Friday and my grandma from Indy is visiting. I am really looking forward to it.

This is a picture of the ocean and a sunset on the PCH...'come on...this picture alone makes you LOVE California...plus we could use some help on rent.

ISU Track

For those who don't know....I had an AMAZING and exciting career at ISU. I was apart of an inspirational program that helped me develop into a who I am today. This place up in the Idaho country was full of challenges and long lasting friendships that will from now on be a huge part of my life. As the spring approaches and the sun shines I can't help but catch myself thinking about Track and Field. It is apart of who I am and my blood runs thick with orange. I miss my teammates who became family to me. The girls became my sisters and we walked away last year with a first ever in school history Big Sky Outdoor championship. WHAT A RUSH. I miss it all of the time and can't wait to see that place I once called home again. Oh...p.s. that is an ice bath that we are all sitting in. GO BENGALS!!!!

Just a Good Old Time!

I wanted to post a few pictures of my friends and Raul and our little ones. Picture one is of Raul and I in Temecula California. The second is adorable...Wilson Phillip, the third is a typical Raul and Sugar moment, the fourth is of Raul, Katie, and Patrick (Our buddies in Long Beach) at Disneyland on Tarzan's Treehouse, and the fourth is on my birthday last year at Lagoon in Salt Lake City with our fun water skiing friends from Rupert, ID, Meg and Dana ( We miss them).

One Bad Deal

Oh my gosh...well for those who don't know...about 3 months ago I dislocated my elbow. It was really scary and very painful...I think, I was on pain meds the whole time. I can't straighten it all the way, it only goes to about 10 degrees. Unfortunately I can't do the same kind of exercises that I use to do. I have a hard time with push ups, power cleans, anything that has me on my hands with full extention of my arms. But the picture is pretty nasty so I wanted to share the battle wound.
