So this past weekend was Easter and Raul and I decided to go up and see Kelly in Plya Del Rey. Her family came out to visit so we went up and had Easter breakfast and played out on the beach. Kelly her boyfriend Kevin, Raul, and I had a very serious game of beach volleyball. So serious that Raul was diving for balls and had sand all over. Then we layed out and played triple jump on the sand...I am the Triple jump Champion!!!! We got really fried but now I look like I apply clay to my face every morning. But whatever...that is the beauty of living in CALI. We had a really great time and I was so happy to see the Tiller's.
CSULB (Raul's track team) is leaving for Sacramento this weekend and I have a troop camper training with the Girl Scouts. We pretty much are busy until April 12th. Both our weekends are packed full of work. We joke and say we get along better that way. Anyway I will be happy in two weeks. Not that I am not happy now I am just tired and busy. So anyway besides being so busy I am really good. Yesterday we took the dogs for a nice long walk and went to Los Alamitos High School where we let them run free. They loved it!!! Sugar sounds like a horse when she runs and Wilson just jogs behind without a care in the world. It was my idea to go on the adventure....I am a good mom! We need to have more evenings like that....plus after we went for our walk, Raul took me to Pei Wei. It was awesome!

A Moment for You
Most of you know about Michael Miller. We have lost a person who always had a smile and was always a sweetheart to be around. Losing Michael has been really hard on me. He has been like a little brother to me and we have watched him grow up. He was one of Marcus' first best friends when we moved down to Pima. My parents are having the wake at their house and they have been over helping the Miller's out with whatever they can. Pima has a huge spot in my heart. It has been a place where I have met some pretty special people and where I have also lost some pretty special people. I think about Heidi, my grandma, Tina Curly, and Michael and how innocent they all were and still are to me. Everyonce in a while I will have these "stand still" moments and my mind will stop and I will have a memory that makes me smile or tear up. I was so blessed to have known these special people. "What does not kill us makes us stronger." I am greatful everyday for my family and friends. Marcus, E, and Kevin are these three fragile beings and I feel that I need to protect them from so many things. This world is tough and fierce and we have to turn to each other for strength. I want you all to know how special you are to me and I hold you dear to my heart. God Bless.

Just the Gals!

This weekend my friends from Arizona came up to see Kelly and I. It has been an eventful weekend. So far we have played volleyball at the beach (Amelia and Katie were undefeted), walked a million miles down to Marina Del Rey in the wind, ate at "pinkbunny." We are hoping to head out to eat soon....and then maybe Hermosa Beach. These pictures were taken this past summer in San Diego....I love the one at the beach!

I Smell Track Season!

I wanted to post this picture of my best little gals in Pocatello. This picture was taken at my birthday party last summer. Raul threw me a surprise party at our house and we had a fun little BBQ. The only one who is missing is ERIN!
This past week has been a roller coaster, I had my first meet as a track coach and Raul had his season opener at Mt. Sac. It was back to back track meets for me. BY the way, we walked away with 6 first places...not too bad for our first meet. Even though I love that sport, by today I am beat! Next weekend my Phoenix friends are coming into town and we are doing the whole beach thing. It should be a lot of fun. Raul will be out of town at Indoor nationals in Arkansas...."Good Luck Raul!" I think his guy will do really well. I am excited to hear the results. It is starting to get really warm here so next weekend, the beach will be nice. This morning was nice and relaxing, we got up early and headed down towards the water where we ate breakfast at "Schooner or Later," and then walked over to the farmers market (I love that kind of stuff). Somedays it hits me and I realize...OH MY GOSH, I LIVE IN LONG BEACH!
